Bus leaves at 10:15 am and returns about 2:45 pm Tour Art House, a Second Empire/Gothic Revival-style home completed in 1872 in the historic Brush Park neighborhood. The interiors preserve original fi replace mantels, woodwork, wall coverings, decorative plaster, stenciling, Minton floor tiles and parquet floors. The art on view includes European and American works. Decorative arts are represented by collections of porcelain, glass, pottery, and silver. With period furnishings, artworks, and artifacts spanning 2,000 years, Art House is truly one of Detroit’s hidden gems.
