Join artist/instructor Kay Sulfaro in this new exciting workshop series “Exploring Faces”. If you have basic drawing skills, you will really enjoy this two-part workshop. In part one students will discover the basic shapes and landmark spots for eyes, noses, and mouths. You will discover details you’ve never paid attention to before. You will also begin to recognize how important shading is. In workshop part two (stay tuned for dates in the New Year), you gain confidence as you build skill with the soft shading that is so important for the gentle contours of faces. As part one ends, the class will receive suggestions on materials/photos, etc. to collect and study in preparation for workshop part two. Materials list available at the front desk upon registration.
