A First-Hand Account with Dr. Kenneth Peters
Dr. Kenneth Peters is Professor and Chair of Urology at William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak. He specializes in the treatment of chronic pelvic pain and urinary incontinence. For more than 15 years he has led a team of physicians to sub-Saharan Africa to provide free urologic care to patients in need. The team has seen more than 2500 patients and performed over 800 surgeries. Dr. Peters will discuss this medical mission work and how it has had made a positive impact in Africa, here at home and on himself.
