We will focus on Escobar’s legacy after his death and the numerous biographies penned by his former hit man, an anchor-woman-andhis-lover, his siblings, son and wife. We will explore Escobar’s entry to the popular culture and global marketing and his impact on dark tourism and how Colombians are reacting to the latest development of Escobar’ transnational protagonism.
