Ric returns to Next to discuss the most visited and most famous shipwrecks. He will tell us about two European shipwrecks and share details about the Arizona memorial that honors those killed at Pearl Harbor. He will also look back thousands of years, to shipwreck stories that were discovered in ancient Iraq and Egypt. From the biblical fl oods to St. Paul’s near disaster off the coast of Malta, Ric shares stores from ancient ships to the Titanic and Lusitania disasters. Finally, turning to the Great Lakes, Ric shares stories from the Lady Elgin, the Edmund Fitzgerald and also his family connection to a tragic North Atlantic shipwreck.
