In this Biblical story, Patriarch Jacob (Sir Richard Attenborough) lives happily with his 12 sons, but his favoritism for Joseph (Donny Osmond) is symbolized by his gift of a spectacular multicolored coat to him. This special gift makes Joseph’s brothers so jealous that they sell him as a slave and unbeknownst to him, also stage his death. Joseph is blessed a gift of dream telling that wins the Pharoah’s favor changing the course of his life and later, when his brothers come to beg for food, it’s time for reckoning.
