Voters, Not Politicians Representatives In November, Michigan voters will decide whether to create an independent commission to handle legislative redistricting. Michigan’s congressional map is one of the most severely gerrymandered in the country. Currently, our lawmakers control the process of redrawing state and federal legislative districts every 10 years. If the measure passes, it will amend the state constitution to create an independent commission. CitizensProtecting Michigan’s Constitution have been invited to speak.
