Dr. Jason M. Hafron will discuss the basics regarding health issues related to a man’s prostate. Specifically, the lecture will cover health issues such as an enlarged prostate, prostatitis, erectile dysfunction and prostate cancer. Lastly, new testing beyond PSA to screen for prostate cancer will be discussed. Dr. Hafron is a partner at the Michigan Institute of Urology, Director of Clinical Research, an Associate Professor of Urology at the Beaumont School of Medicine and Director of Robotic Surgery at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. He is experienced in all areas of adult urology, and specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of cancers involving the prostate, kidney and bladder utilizing laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
