From Apple to Cider Picnic Lunch* at MSU Tollgate Farms & Franklin Cider Mill*

Thursday October 22 Bus departs Next at 11:45 am, returns approx. 3:45 pm.  Register by October 8 

Join us for a fall-themed day exploring the journey from apple orchard to cider mill! We begin at the farm with a hands-on experience learning about apple tree grafting, to discover how new apple varieties are created. From there, enjoy a scenic wagon ride, sample a variety of fresh-picked apples while watching a cider press demonstration. The experience continues with a visit to the animal barn for an interactive opportunity to learn about farm animals.On the way home, we will head to the iconic Franklin Cider Mill, where participants can enjoy or purchase treats on your own.

Program is moderately active. *Picnic Lunch-You must bring your own picnic lunch and drinks. There is not food service available for sale at the farm. *Franklin Cider Mill-You will be able to make your own selections at the Cider Mill, so please bring cash or a credit card for your purchases.
