As we continue suffering habitat destruction and loss across the globe, who are the heroes working to protect our local watersheds? Some of them might be surprisingly small and furry! Thomas Raffel is a professor of biology and ecology at Oakland University. His lecture will cover important information on the original dam builders, and how their tireless efforts reshape, create, and maintain critical ecosystems. As our planet suffers more environmental destruction, awareness of the role of native wildlife becomes ever more crucial.
