Most people don’t realize that their daily lives are impacted by the work that bats do at night – feeding on insects in our local neighborhoods. Far safer and more effective than mosquito sprays, bats are the ultimate good neighbor: quiet, helpful, and highly unlikely to carry rabies. Come to Next and learn from Christina Funk of the Stage Nature Center about bats, why they’re so important to ecological health, and why their populations are in decline.
