Over the past 40 years, Hip-Hop Music/Rap has become one of the most popular styles of music in the world. Often misunderstood and disliked, it has set down roots in American
culture that are here to stay. Today, more than ever, it speaks to inequalities and social structure issues. We will examine the origins and development of Hip-Hop by shining a light on many of its famous musicians like Run-DMC, Public Enemy, N.W.A., Eminem and many others.
