DIA EXHIBITION: Bitter/Sweet Bus departs Next at 9:15 am, returns about 3:00 pm Enjoy a self-guided tour of the permanent collection as well as lunch on your own in the cafeteria. At 12:30, you will attend Bitter/Sweet: Coffee, Tea & Chocolate, an exhibition that retraces the story of how these “new hot drinks” appeared in Europe beginning in the late 16th century, causing a change in drinking habits, social customs and tastes, as well as an insatiable demand for specialized vessels for these drinks.
