The Other Detroit Riots When people think of the “Detroit Riots,” 1967 comes to mind, but in 1943 Detroit suffered through its first widespread riots. Craig Ciccone, celebrated historian, will join us to discuss the 1943 riots which began on Belle Isle and lasted for three days before US troops were called in to regain control.
