The Windscape Trio returns to NEXT to share a program of familiar and “new” music — offered by the composers as gifts to individuals and communities. The concert will include classical, ragtime, folk tunes and light jazz selections. The traditional Shaker melody “Simple Gifts”, as well as “Amazing Grace”, will be featured in special trio arrangements. The Windscape Trio includes Jennie Spenner, fl ute; Lillian Dean, clarinet; Walter Dean, bassoon; and Michele Prud’homme, percussion and narrator. Kindly sponsored by American House Stone.
