Galen Garst, with a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental and Occupational Health, worked for 31 years as a Food Safety supervisor for Oakland County and for the last 15 years as CEO of Food Systems, a Food Service Consulting Service Company. Mr. Garst will cover what the government does to make sure the food you order is safe, what you can do to make sure your food is stored and prepared safely, as well as share some stories, “from the field.”
