David A. Moran is a Clinical professor of law at the University of Michigan law School, where he is also the Director of the Michigan Innocence Clinic. Moran, who holds advanced degrees in mathematics and physics, has argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court six times. he will discuss the problem of wrongful convictions in Michigan and nationwide. He will also focus on recent cases in which the Clinic, which seeks to exonerate innocent prisoners who do not have biological material to test for DNA, obtained freedom fro the wrongly convicted.
