Dan Stugis, from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit- Professor Sturgis' presentation will focus on the future of transportation, looking past today's automobile ownership paradigm, to a future of non-demand and right sized mobility that helps us create more wonderful neighborhoods, communities, and cities. The most amazing new technologies in the world nor offer the promise to reform how we all move along with the future shape of the built world.This future includes “road diets”; allowing our street infrastructure to be redesigned to make walking, biking, and other active modes more enjoyable. This future also promises to enhance personal mobility for people of all ages.
